Love Enhances Life

I am falling in love. I used to love one girl from Syria when I was 16 years old. She was my way to see life, but we gave up because her Family didn’t want her to be far away with me in Saudi Arabia .After that I tried to forget her by using many different ways to find a new love who can recover her place. I tried online dating sites, chatting rooms, and meeting new girls but I failed. Therefore, I decided to continue my life without love. After I made this decision, my love came back to me. Now we make all the decisions together. And we are on our way to secsess. I hope to finish my studding quickly and go back home to get married with her. I think love happen only one time in the life. Therefore, my advice to who fell in love to maintain their relationship and to not give up.

Mansho's Last Vacation

In my last vacation CESl gave me only five days for rest. In the beginning I thought that the five days were not enough to rest and enjoy, but after I went through this short time vacation I have had a good time. In the first day of my vacation after I finished the TOFAL test I went to my friend Apartment, which I haven’t been in for two months. We drank and spoke about our doing when I used to be his next-door neighbor. He reminded me the first four months, That I have lived in Carbondale, How my language was very poor, and how it has been improved ;Therefore, it was a good day after a long test. The next two days in my vacation were good, too. I cooked, rememorize some wards, listened to some music of my best singer's New CD, and spoke with my family members. Next, in the fourth day in my vacation I invited all my American friends who asked me to cook for them to eat Arabic food. We ate, drank, and spoke. Finally, the last day in my vacation I went to Illinois driver license office, took the test, got my driver license and drove the first time in Carbondale safely without being concerned by the police to not pull me over. It was a short vacation, but I enjoyed it.

Lucid dreaming

According to Pamela Hartmann (n.d.) in her article, "Lucid dreaming", lucid dreaming means consciously aware while a person is dreaming. At that time, they can participate in the events and emotions of the dream by character experiencing , observing and watching, directing and creating. Patricia Garfield, who wrote "Creative Dreaming", said that a lucid dreamer would have unbelievable freedom through the lucid dream. Also Stephen LaBerge, at the Standford University Sleep Lab, has developed a method called the MILD technique. MILD technique is waking up from a dream, imaging yourself, seeing yourself, and telling yourself. He claims that by using the MILD technique, he was able to have lucid dream on any night he wished. The way to gain access to your dream is to place a notebook or diary on your nightstand or under your pillow. Secondly, don't open your eyes immediately when you wake up. Third, lie and try to recall any imagery. Next, think about its ABCD order, ABCD means that D is any specific image, C is the event or activity that preceded it, B is what preceded that, and A is what preceded that. Lastly, describe the dream. Pamela Hartmann says that as we begin to experience this, our dream journal will achieve a special place in our life.

Making Dreams Work For Us

In the article "Dreams: making them work for us," the author states how to make dreams work for dreamers. First, Joseph dreams bad dream for a long time. He was exhausted in the morning by this dream. Second, Milton Kramer considers that people should pay attention to their dreams and try to change the bad dreams. Third, changing our dream requires recalling the dream by using several steps. Next, Dr. Rosalind Cartwright has created another approach that can help people to change their dreams. Finally, Joseph could change his bad dream by using dream therapy.

what is a dream

In the article "What is a Dream?" the author mentions what the people think about dreams in the past, and the scientists' attempts to interpret what the dreams are. First, our ancestors didn’t pay attention to what the dreams were, but they thought that they were important to the individual's feeling and bodily contentment. Not only that, but they thought that god had sent to them message by dreams. Second, in the twentieth century was the beginning of dream studies that made people believes that the dreams illustrated something in their personality. Third, Freud was the first person studied dreams by his wish-fulfillment theory and his book The Interpretation of Dreams. He assumed that the person expressed his wishes and frights in dreams because they were improper in actual life. Third, in balance theory" To Become Popular" by Carl Jung's. Jung viewed that the person contacted with his wishes by dreams. Next, William Domhoff assumed that there were relationships between the dreams and the person's age, sex, society, waking activities, and believes, compared the dreams between the adults with the children and the women with the men, and noted the similarity and the difference between people from 11 cultures. Finally, the author mentions that it is very hard to know the meaning of dreams and the agreement between who study.
